Not much of an Intro!

My last "intro" was not much of an intro-sorry
My wife and I have been doing the RV thing about 6 years now. Bought our first Sunline, a brand new 1950 in 2001. Last year we traded it for a 2075 because the floorplan works better for us and it still fits in our driveway!
We do most of our camping in western PA, with a few trips into Ohio, New York, and Vermont.
Lori is a full time nurse in a busy ICU, I am a respiratory therapist, now in management.
This summer has been very busy, with not nearly enough time for camping. We hope next summer is better in that regard. We would like to make the M&G in Mexico, but it is too soon for us to make reservations, due to the nature of our work schedules. I hope it won't be too late to get a spot in February or March!?

I don't remember them taking a $ deposit, and they are REALLY nice there. If you call and explain that you plan to come, but that with your work situations something could come up at the last minute, I think they'd be accomodating.

Hi Chuck & Lori,

Welcome to the club.

I agree with Pam, the owners of Buttonwood are very nice and very accommodating. And her suggestion is a good one.

But if you want to wait until Feb. or March to make reservations, I'm sure you'll be able to get a spot.

Hope to see you next year at the Eastern M&G.

Hutch,

I'm not so sure about that. Remember, that's the Luau weekend, which they mentioned is a popular one and fills up quick.

Chuck & Lori, if you want to make a reservation, take Pam's suggestion. They shouldn't want a deposit, so if you don't take the site after all, we could hopefully find someone else in the group to take it.

Jon

I forgot about that . Pam & Jon are right, it’s probably better to call and reserve a spot now. You can always cancel in Feb. or March if your schedule precludes you from attending.

Hello fellow Sunline Owners,

My name is Ken and my wife is Kathy. I've been an RV owner for over 12 years and will take delivery of a new 2007 Sunline Que RE on or about Oct 17th. I am downsizing from a 26' Sunnybrook bunkhouse as kids are mostly grown and out-of-house and not as much space (and gas consumption) necessary anymore. I also just downsized from a 2001 Ford F-150 SuperCrew to a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser 4x4 which I am REALLY enjoying!

I am excited about my 1st Sunline purchase but only wish the company was still alive and well. I was shocked to hear a company with such customer loyalty and product satisfaction went under.

My wife and I are public safety professionals: Her a Paramedic and myself a Fire Captain/Paramedic in Metro St. Louis, MO area. We like to camp, mountain bike and soon kayak to relax and de-stress. Looking forward to getting to know you good folks here on the forum.

Take Care!

Ken
