Hello everyone,

Well, we recently bought our first camper. I am nervous and excited at the same time. It is a 1987 Sunline T1550. Attached some pics. We haven't added our personal touches yet. I thought we were good to go camping (or so the seller said) but I went in yesterday and found that it needs quite a bit of TLC. It has some water damage that will need to be repaired. Also, have to trace down where the leaks are coming from. Any help or suggestions will most certainly be helpful since this is our very first camper. Still excited though.

Thanks,
Tommie

Welcome to the club!

I had seen your camper on eBay. How's the roof look? I thought I remembered the seller had replaced/repaired it? It's possible he already stopped the water infiltration but you should carefully inspect all seams for voids in the seal. Not just the roof, but everywhere. Also check for plumbing for leaks.

Hope the damage isn't too bad and your certainly not the first to experience this.

There's a custom Google search for this forum that works pretty well......

Good luck

Thanks Johnnybgood. The area on the floor with the damage is still damp so it is still leaking. We definitely will be resealing everything.
