New to travel trailers in general

Hi, I just bought a sweet little 1984 T-1451. I know absolutely NOTHING about travel trailers; have always been a tent camper (at a lot of music festivals). Any suggestions to resources to help familiarize myself with the ins and outs and things I should look out for? Any info is appreciated!

If and when you can post pictures. We would like to see them. It isn't every day someone has the T-1451

You can also host them on a photobucket account or something and link them in.

Hi Shadowof me,

See these 2 threads on how to post pics. You can upload them directly or link them in from a photo server site.

Looks like it's been taken care of. Looks like a new water heater, wheels ,tires, propane tanks you'll have fun with that!

What makes you say new water heater? We've not noticed an issue.

It's got a shiny new white door most likely the water heater has been replaced that's a good thing!

Hi and welcome to SOC! Four years ago, my husband and I joined SOC knowing very little about TT camping. We've learned a lot from reading threads on this site and even more from the people here - it's a great place to get questions answered. Again, welcome and happy camping!

Depending on if any harsh cleaners have been used, there may be an ink stamping with the date still on the inside of that shiny new door.

Rock guard has also been changed out, that one looks more late '60s vintage and much taller than the original. And your clearance lights aren't the original design, but what you have looks better for functionality.
