new to the rv world

Hello all... and friend of mine came across the job of cleaning up an old farm..on the farm there was a 91 t2363. He told me if i could get it out there i could do what ever i pleased....i hooked up to my truck and all 4 tires spun smoothly the electric brakes and all the lights worked after 10-15 years..i brought her home got her all cleaned up and now just exploring...If anyone has any words of advice or wisdom it would be greatly apreciated. Thank you all

Do a search on winterizing, there will be many threads on the subject.

Tires on any trailer age out in 4-5 years and should be replaced ASAP regardless of how good the tread looks. Sitting on dirt and in the sun is especially bad. Park your new tires on a plank or square of outdoor plywood, never on dirt or asphalt (it's too hot) or concrete (leaches chemicals out of the tire, so I've been told, but not a problem on a car that gets far more regular use than a tt. Also, use white tire covers--never understood why they make black ones.

"never understood why they make black ones."

Generally black is less inhibited by UV then white. That said, it also depends to what degree inhibitors are or aren't put into the plastic formula for any given application.

Wow, that is truly the definition of a "barn find". Cool. If that coach has been inside that should have protected if from the #2 enemy of any Sunline, the sun. The # 1 enemy is water. Be sure to actively maintain any caulking issues on seems, windows and roof areas. Much information here on all these issues. Good luck.

collins6754,

Welcome. Meant to say that earlier!

I would love to see pictures of your "new to you" T-2363.

I really like the 2363 floor plan and trailer size. I also really like the jalousie windows.

Very nice job, my 2002 had a window in the bath room just to the left of the service light on the road side. Curious what that little window is on the top of the coach on the road side, is that in the bedroom or bath?

Jay, they used to put those little windows both in bathrooms/showers as well as by cabinet beds.
