Greetings & welcome from another upstate NY'er. There's quite a few of us here & the Adks offer many great camping opportunities. Many feel this is best time of yr to enjpy them. Happy camping !

I'm no expert but as far as I know none of the state campgrounds inside Blueline offer hookups. (private campgrounds do) We've never camped in one since trailering but will have our 1st such experience @ Nick's Lake SP for the annual Meet & greet in late Sept. Looking forward to meeting some of the very helpful folks here who've offered us much appreciated trailering advice. You may wanna check out thread here on Adk M&G & consider joining us.

We typically boondock & over the yrs discovered many awesome, free Adk campsites (many waterfront) while tenting & backpacking or canoe camping. Some of these drive in sites will accommdate trailers (although your backing skills may come into play getting back out again) We just returned from one on Little Green Pond just outside Lake Clear. In fact, our Sunline's still there as our daughter & beau took our places yesterday for last days on our permit (DEC regs require a free permit to stay in same campsite beyond 3 nights & Little Green has it's own free permit system)

We find the amenities offered by our trailer make camping in it a fairly decadent experience & don't miss the hookups

Hello Bundy2slo,

Welcome to the group and congrats on your Sunline purchase. From the previous replies, sounds like you'll have many choices of places to camp with your "new 2U Sunline".

This site is a very warm & friendly place, so if you have any questions, need help with a problem, post away and it won't take long before you get some replies.

OH, we LOVE to see Sunline pictures, so if you are able to post photos, we'd all love to see them.

Kitty

Welcome aboard! I was a tenter for 40 years before I got my little 18 foot F-1850 Fifth Wheel camper. Should have gotten a camper 40 years ago. Like it a lot! A lot lot!
