New Sunline Owner and Member

GREETINGS! I am so excited about my new Sunline and the sun has been out since I bought it!

I have been a full timer in the past, so I am not new to this. I live in NE Pennsylvania, would love to get invites to RV rallies and RV friendly events within a 250 mile radius. I need to do a little more work on the towing rig before I go further than that.

I am young enough to still have to work and retirement is still a ways off, but sometimes I get to work remotely which poses some interesting possibilities with the RV combined with my WiFi hotspot.

If anyone else is from my area, I would not mind getting a few GOOD RV tech references in the area. I handle a lot of smaller things myself.

Welcome Rocketgirl......you have found yourself on one of the most friendliest sites you can imagine. Everyone here has an opinion but no "bullying" (ie. my ford is better than your chevy).....

As far as M&G - there is a section specifically for notices of upcoming events. The first one would be in June in Mexico PA - check it out! No special invite is needed.....also we have many members here who have joined the ranks of SOB's (some other brand (owners)) and we attend the M&G also.....like I said "friendly group"!

Enjoy your Sunline and hope you get your floor fixed!

Thanks again! As a previous full-timer, I have always found my RV neighbors (with only 20 feet or so separating us sometimes) as some of the best neighbors I could ever have, better than any house that I have owned! I think you have to have a specific mindset, love of the outdoors, active, okay with spontaneity, respectful, helpful and patient. Most of all, you are where you are because you want to be there, not because you have to be there!

I'll have to check out the Mexico PA event, is there a link?

Hi and welcome ! Here is the link to the PA Meet and Greet. There are other meet and greets, including one in Western NY state in Sept. and Adirondacks in Sept. as well. If you check the forums (click at top of page) you will find them if you scroll down.

But I don't have a Ford or a Chevy, I have a Toyota.

We also indulge in humor from time to time.

Welcome to the forum. I joined here about 2 years ago. It's a great place to talk about just about anything. Even during the harsh winter we talk about repairs and modification.

You new people will love it here

I also have a Toyota. It is a well known fact that Toyota owners are really great intelligent individuals with a sense of humor. If you have any dealt, just ask mainah...aka Tim!
