New Sunline owner

Hello to all! I'm new to TT's and after much research we bought a 2006 Solaris Classic 2499. The unit was used for 1 year. We loved the floorplan and the condition and have been very impressed with what we have seen looking at Sunlines! I will be getting it home next week.

These forums are an absolute treasure for a newbie like me. I've learned an immense amount already, with much more to learn! Thanks to all who have presented so much good information!

Yes, I've been looking longingly at space #98 since yesterday. I think that it's calling to me!

Hematite,

Sorry you've waited too long, sites 99 - 96 are now booked.

But there's still other good sites available.

All the sites are good in the area we're monopolizing

Hope you join us.

Hutch

Hi Rick, Welcome to the group and wonderful world of Sunline ownership. I am also a 2499 owner.

Yep, you missed out on site #98 for the GTG, but they have others. Shoot, I was on vacation, returning from a month out west, and in Branson, MO when I called to make my res. I missed this year, but I sure won't next year. Looks like we'll have quite a few "2499's" to compare.

Yes, I checked back on the M&G thread and I see that I missed the current, updated, info. I'll have to check to see how far site 68 is from the bathrooms and showers. My wife is somewhat handicapped and not able to walk a great distance so, for her, it may not be a reasonable distance to walk. I don't think that she will do too well using the facilities in the 2499, but I could be wrong. We'll get the 2499 next week, so we won't have a lot of experience with it before the end of this year. The Sunline is kind of my dream and she is being guardedly cooperative about it.

Rick,

I would suggest looking to see if sites 112 or 113 are available.

These sites are closests to the bathhouse and still close to the Sunline group.

Make sure you make your reservation as soon as possible because there are other groups there that weekend and it'll book up, especially with it being the hawaiian weekend.
