New Sunline owner
Hi, my name is Paul my wife Martha and I just bought a like new 2006 Solaris t2499.
We are new to trailer camping having had motor homes for the past 8 years.
We belong to a Good Sams camping club, and hope to meet new friends in the Sunline owners club. We live in Strasburg VA.

Welcome to SOC! The T-2499 is a popular model many enjoy.
There are several Sunline Meet & Greets. They are listed on the right side of the page. The biggest one is held in June at Buttonwood, in PA. The nearest to you is probably the Shenandoah River State Park M&G, Oct 11-13, 2013. An RSVP thread is set up here.
If you have any questions about the M&G's or your "new" camper, the members here are very friendly and helpful.

Congrats on your new coach! We had a 2004, T2499. Beautiful camper.

Plan to test out "new camper" this week-end at Battle of Cedar Creek C.G.Will definitely attend M&G at Shenandoah River State Park in Oct. Only 12 mi. From Strasburg. looking forward to meeting some new friends there.

I got the 2499 at Reines RV in Manassas VA.It has a fiberglass roof.I'll ask the salesman who traded it in.I pick it up tomorrow and am anxious to try it out.

First off, Welcome to Sunline Owners Club and congrats on your T2499!
We had one, a great camper.
H'mm, your salesman said it had a fiberglass roof? If that is true, it almost must of been a special order at the factory. Sunline used EPDM rubber as the standard for the newer campers and all T2499's would of had rubber unless a special order.
I actually have never heard of a fiberglass one on a Sunline TT. Not that it is impossible, just special. Some of the big Motorhomes have them buy have not seen on a TT. Does anyone else know?
