New owners in Massachusetts

Hello all,

Last fall we picked up a 2001 Solaris T-267SR. This is not our first RV experience as we owned a 1998 Fleetwood Jamboree from about 2003-2007. The new (to us of course) camper is really n immaculate shape, especially on the inside. I have just gotten around to getting it ready for the summer and the only thing I have left is to select the battery setup we are going to use. I will ask that in another topic though.

It is really great to find a forum dedicated to these trailers. I was told by the guy at the RV shop yesterday that these were a really good trailer which made me feel good about the purchase. We can't wait to get to know her better with a few trips that we have scheduled in July and 2 in August.

My tow vehicle is a 2001 Dodge 2500 CTD. It really pulls it nicely and pretty much effortlessly. It has seen better days though as it has 240,000+ miles on it but it just keeps going.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and I will probably be looking through old posts for the issues I have and maybe asking some new questions as well.

-Jeff

Thanks for the welcome. I can't wait to spend some time in this trailer with the family. I just got a battery and everything (including the slide motor, which I was told was broken) works.

Thanks again
Jeff

Welcome aboard, Jeff! These guys will prove to you that there is no such thing as a stupid question. I've tested them a few times.

Hey Jeff
where in MA are you? I'm in WOBURN.
The wife and I just bought our Sunline last fall (1984 21 footer), July 4 week-end will be our first trip with it. We go to "Sweetwater Forest" in Brewster (Cape Cod near Barnstable) alot, nice quiet campground.

We are in Easton. We will be beach camping (read boondocking) in Fairhaven over the forth and would like to find some local campgrounds to try out. We have been thinking about Pinewood Lodge in and Ellis Haven Plymouth but we are open to trying anything. Can't wait to get out there and enjoy the camper.
