New owner. Kind of...

Just bought a 2003 Solaris T-2553 from my brother. Now all I have to do is drive from FL to PA to pick it up.

Welcome to the sunline cub. We have a 2002 2475 an love it. These campers are well made. The onlything we did was to put on a plywood roof last year. Best move. now I can walk on the roof to clean it. Good luck with yours.

Plywood roof

Did you find plans for the plywood roof installation online?

This should not be any different from sheathing a roof on a home or shed or similar structure. The roof of a TT is just 2x joists, usually 2' on center. The only difference would be to use screws instead of nails.

Finally going to pick it up.

I'll be leaving Wednesday from Florida and driving to Pennsylvania to pick it up.
Hope to go camping on the first weekend after I get back.

Finally got the camper home to FL a couple of weeks ago. Going to have to find someone in the Jacksonville area to do a roof repair/replacement. It is patched and not leaking, but has leaked before. Everything appears to work correctly (had the Dometic recall done two weeks ago). First camping trip this coming weekend. Only going an hour away to St. Augustin as a trial run. The camper towed like a dream through the mountains of PA down to FL. No problems pulling with my 2015 Ram 1500. Wish me luck on no problems this weekend please.
