New member to club working on my 5th Sunline RV

I have owned 4 Sunline RVs and loved all of them. Last March, I found a wonderful deal on a motorhome and sold my 2005 T-2499. My wife and I had just retired from teaching and we were ready to travel.
After 5000 miles and 6 months, I hated that MH. I wanted my TT and P/U truck back. We towed a Honda and you could never see it behind the MH.
The MH was so noisy and trucks pushed us all over as they passed and I have driven trucks. Our 2 traveling cats hated it too. So we gave up a brand new MH and took a poor cash deal along with a new 2006 Sunline RV T-1950. We lost a lot of $$$ but we got our Sunline back and I can drive my P/U truck with all my tools etc. So, I'm glad to be back in our 5th Sunline RV, sad that we lost the Sunline RV company. We had even driven to Denver,Pa. to watch our T-2499 being built in 2005. What a great company it was!! Thanks for having such a great club.

Welcome to Sunline Club! We have a great group and glad to have you join us. Yes MH camping and TT camping are different. We have not gone MH camping yet, just been in a few friends that have them and so far we still like the TT. Especially our new to us T310SR.

Gee having 5 Sunlines WOW.

What year and models where they?

If you still want a T2499, I happen to have a 2004 mint condition garaged one that will be up for sale now and come spring being advertised. I hate to part with it, but I only need 1 and the T310 fits us right now so much better. The T310 layout is an all grown up T2499.

Happy Camping and glad to have you with us. There is a meet and greet in June if you can make it. It is posted under the meet and greet section.

John

Hi jwright!

Welcome, as John said - great bunch of people here and with you owning 5 Sunlines - you could be on of our resident "informers" - meaning you might know a lot more than some of us!

There is also a M&G in September over at Nick's Lake in Old Forge, which is not that far from you - hope to see ya at one of them!

Kathy

PS - We traded out 2006 T1950 for our 2007 T2499!

Thanks for the replies sent to a new member, jwright. It was good to be welcomed. I would love to meet some of you but my wife has Alzhiemers at age 55 and we were told by doctors to stay home. I think we will camp on Cayuga Lake at my parents home and we will visit our friends at Krings Point near Alexandria Bay on the St Lawerence River. I would love to drive up to Old Forge and visit for the day at Nicks. Its only 3 hrs. We have camped at many of the Adirondak parks until the bears scared us out and we have been at Cranberry Lake since. We have been camping for 27 years so its sad to not be able to travel since we are retired now.
Thanks again for the welcome and we may see you at the M&G.
