New member from NC

Hi everyone. Name here is Jim and my wife and I have a 1999 Solaris T-2370 that we have owned since it was new. We really like it and think the layout is perfect for us. I just found out about this place and will be lurking for awhile just getting used to how things work around here. Look forward to future chats.

I like to 'lurk' around some forums first, too, so I can see what type of 'temperament' the forum has (if you know what I mean!

) Glad you devided to jump in! DOn't forget to vot in this thread for the SE M&G. If you have any campground suggestions in NC, I am firming up the final list to be voted on, and would love to know of some more!

Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome. I have cast my vote in the poll for the M&G. As for park recommendations, I would mention Lake Myers Campground which is in Mocksville, NC and Lake Ridge RV Resort (formerly RJ Ranch) which is just north of the border in Hillsville, VA. We have stayed at both of these in the past and have had very good experiences at each. If I think of any others, I will pass them along.

I think I got the name of the RJ Ranch wrong in my last post. I think the new name is Laurel Ridge RV Resort, not Lake Ridge. It will always be RJ Ranch to me anyway. Sorry.
