New 264SR

Hello All,

This is a great website. Have received great information and decided I needed to join. My wife and I are planning our first trip with our new 264SR. That is if I can find a campground for the 15 & 16th of June in Mass/southern NH. This is our second Sunline. Had a T1950 for two seasons and decided to move up. Had to pull the trigger faster than expected with Sunline going out of business. Then I had to but a new truck. But now I can not wait to get going.

Hi Jim & Kathy,

Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your new Sunline T-264SR. That's a great floor plan.
Being a repeat owner, no one needs to tell you what a great trailer you got.

We were in a very similar situation as you. In 2005 we upgraded from a T-2670 to a T-280SR. We bought the T-280SR a little sooner than planned because Sunline changed the floor plan to a T-286SR; and we preferred the original T-280SR floor plan much more. This was the floor plan my DW had been dreaming about for years and saying that's our next trailer. We were fortunate, after months of debating what to do and looking at every other brand with a similar floor plan, we came to the conclusion that nothing compared to the Sunline, so we purchased one of the 2 remaining T-280SR in the whole state of NY. LaRue at Sunline really helped us track one down. Once we got the new trailer, I realized that we also had to upgrade our tow vehicle. It was an expensive endeavor but well worth it.

Since then both the dealership we purchased our T-280SR and Sunline have both gone out of business. No worry thought, this is our 3rd Sunline and we know what a great quality trailer it is. Plus we have an excellent (former Sunline) dealer minutes from our house. We weren’t able to buy the T-280SR from them because the other dealership won’t dealer trade with them. I guess RV dealerships work a lot different than car dealerships wrt doing dealer trades.

Good luck with your new T-264SR, you’ll love it.
Hutch
