Keystone Kommonwealth Kamper

Greetings from PA. Just sealed the deal on a vintage Sunline. Based on the diagram I found at this wonderful site, it's a 13 1/2 RD, vintage 1979, found on local craigslist. Will be picking it up next week. Owner has all the original paperwork too. Plenty of life left in the old girl. Looking forward to rolling up my sleeves and fixing her up for quick weekend getways.

I throw out a welcome too - I am one of the newbies with an oldie myself.

Hi there! I'm new also - looks like we have the same Sunline!

Do you have access to a scanner? If so, I'd love to see your paperwork, as we received none with our camper.

Thanks!
Angie

Welcome to the site. We also have an older unit, a 1982 Sunline 15.5 SB that we've used for the last two years, doing a complete loop of the USA and a trip to Labrador.

We've loved it. We purchased it from the original owner and like your's he had the original paperwork.

Interestingly for us, people frequently ask us if we want to sell. Apparantly these little rally light units are not being manufactured, though I've noted they're making a comeback.

Have fun and safe travels,

Turns out, all he paperwork the seller THOUGHT she had was for their OTHER olde Sun Line. (A fifteen or sixteen footer. I believe). I've stayed in close touch with these folks, asking them to keep an eye out for any further documentation. Basically, the rig has good bones, and a perfectly servicible interior. But the inverter/charger, water pump and water heater all need attention. Projects for a warmer day. More pics to come.

Grounding our grids here for the Big Snow. Plenty of time to "think"...and dream....
