Hi, from PA

My name is Joanne and my husband is Ed. With our 4 children as they grew, plus friends, we have been camping (starting in the back of a pickup truck and moving up to tent, then popup), for 34 years. We decided to retire the popup so this May we bought a 2005 Sunline Solaris-20 feet. All I can say is.... I love it. We have taken it camping several times and I would like to go one more time before winterizing it. Living in northeast PA, the scenery is beautiful at this time of year. Our favorite campground has been Locust Lake State Park, but with the trailer, we will be trying more of the private campgrounds to make use of the full hook-ups. We like woodsy areas so any suggestions would be appreciated. I look forward to many more camping trips with our "new" Sunline.

Hi Joanne and Ed....welcome to the forum! You will find that this is a very friendly group, always willing to help with any problems that arise!

Hubby and I are now known as SOB (Some Other Brand) - we traded our 2499 for a new Rubicon toy hauler.....we are out camping as I type!

You may want to check out the Meet & Greet in PA - it is held in June at Buttonwood Campground! You'll meet the nicest group of people, some have traded on to bigger or newer rigs...but still Sunline owners in their hearts!!

Welcome! And yes, we too have traded to an SOB. But as Poppy & Nanna says we are still Sunline loyalists at heart. Saw a 264SR on 222 heading north yesterday and (as much as I love Foxy) I thought "I miss our Tweety"

Welcome, Joanne & Ed, and congrats on the Sunline! We bought a Sunline this summer too but we're total camping newbies. The members of this forum have been - and continue to be - a great help to us. Since we've had limited camping experience so far this year, others can tell you good places to camp but, if you are interested in camping in the central PA area, Greenwood Furnace SP and R.B. Winter SP are both nice and woodsy, hook-ups with electric. (Our signature pix is our 2363 at Greenwood.)

Welcome! We stayed at the KOA in Gettysburg years ago. I remember it as having lots of trees and we got a pull through with full hookups. Great place to vacation. Have fun with the new camper!

Hello Joanne, and welcome to the forum. My wife, Sue and I purchased an '04 T1950 back in July. We had not camped since the mid 80's after selling our Viking popup. A nice campground (well one of many) here in Lancaster Co is the Starlite Campground. We were there about a month ago (after 25 years) and loved it. Only about 45 minutes from home!!
