Hello from Michigan

Hi, family of three here, living in Northern MI. Just bought a 1990 Sunline T 1550. Came with new flooring and paint job. Putting on new curtains (new ones are on the left). Trying to embrace the cushion fabric. Working on adding some sort of guard rail to the rear bunk in this pic, so kiddo who is a roller, won’t fall out in her sleep! Love some ideas on that.

Hi Bizzy!

Welcome! and congrats on your new Sunline. This is the place for Sunline camper info. Any and all questions welcome. You already get a star for posting a pic of your new camper.

We like "seeing" (hint hint, we like pics!) and hearing about your Sunline adventures.

Happy camping this season.

John

We are just 2 in a 1990 t1550. We replaced the couch cushions with a 3/4 mattress from Amazon and like it. It means it always stays in the bed position though and we did put a thin sheet of plywood down so the mattress wouldn't push through those bottom boards. For the top bunk I believe Amazon sells a child bed guard rail that just slides under the mattress but I've never used the upper bunk. Not sure how the bar would feel sleeping on top of it but you may be able to fasten it down. We added an extra curtain in back where the bed is because we camp in the cold, we got a piece of vinyl from the fabric store and bonded it to fabric on both sides, works great!
