Hello from Erie County Pa

Hi,
My friends just bought a Sunline camper, we are still trying to figure out which one it is, I get to do a lot of the repairs on it and began by removing the seat cushions, opening windows and sweeping out debris. We think it is a M-17 1/2 SB but not sure yet. It is in my yard and will be remodeled and refurbed. Does anyone know where we can find the VIN on it?
Thanks a bunch.
Kathy of the team Brenda and Terry

Welcome to the club and congrats on your new Sunline!

It sounds like you have an older Sunline. They had a VIN tag or stamped in the trailer A frame. A frame meaning the hitch part.

I知 not sure which side or location. I知 not the guru on the older campers.

There was also a practice to put a VIN tag under the threshold sill plate of the main entry door. Again not knowing what year you have, I知 not sure when the practice started. If you cannot find one on the A frame, check under the door sill plate. You do not have to take the door out, just the plate in the inside attached to the door frame.

If you have a title, the VIN would be on the prior owners title

We look forward to hearing and seeing about your Sunline adventures. We like pics!!!

Hope this helps

John

Kathy, Brenda, & Terry,
Welcome to SOC and congrats on your Sunline! I’m sure someone will help with ID-ing it. Post pixs if you can. Happy camping!
