Hello from Central Pennsylvania

Hello from central Pennsylvania. I have already posted once but I guess I should do an introduction thread. Last week I purchased an 88 Sunline T2642, I think i have that right, which is my first travel trailer. I didn't want to get the cart before the horse but things didn't work out that way.
Today I managed to get the tow vehicle to go with it. I put the deposit down on a '93 F-150 that I will be picking up on Friday after it's current owner gets it all cleaned out and replaces the battery.
I'm really looking forward to getting the camper out and trying this out. First I need to get the inspection done and a few things fixed up on it. Things that I will go searching for and asking in the correct forum.
So if you have any suggestions for local campgrounds to zip the Reading/Lebanon area please feel to suggest them.
Here are some pictures of the camper. One of the advantages of living out where I do is that people take real good care of their property. So it may be nearly thirty years old but you will see that the interior is nearly spotless. Oh and we had some torrential rains the day I went to look at it. There were no leaks inside or even a musty smell. I checked all the usual places to see any stains. Heck even the dents up front looked secure. She is an odd duck in how good it looks.
So here are some pictures to check out on Google Photos instead of posting them one at a time.

Looks like you found a gem there! Check out the section on campgrounds for recommendations. Everyone likes different things so it's hard to recommend not knowing if you're a state park, rustic, or full hookups with planned activities kind of person.

The first one I will do is a park that is quite literally a couple miles from my house. That will be the trial run. After that I have a few in mind but I will gladly go look look through the suggestions. Thanks again.

Wow, that is in nice condition for its age! It's great when you find a Sunline which someone has taken care of. Happy camping!

Welcome and congrats on your new Sunny!

You and your family will have a great time with the camper.

Ask away any and all questions. And thanks for sharing the pics. Always good to see Sunlines. That unit does look in good shape for it's age.

Happy camping this year.

John

Agreed, looks like a nice find! I love the original brochure used as decoration too!
