Hello all... glad to find such a site!!!

Hello all,

Jason here. I'm ecstatic with finding this board! I just bought a 1992 Sunline T-2053 last week, took her out for a test run this past weekend at a local park... we packed up early yesterday and towed home to avoid the rainy tear down today.

Funny how things happen... we looked to 'upgrade' from a 1994 Starcraft pop up early this season and found a buyer for our old camper instantly in a close relative that wanted a bigger pop up than what they currently camped in. So my search started. I wanted something small as it's just my wife, dog, and sometimes mother in law that go on our excursions. I also didn't want to spend alot so we set our sights within our budget.

You always say to yourself... 'don't buy the 1st thing you look at!' Well, I did. I couldn't be happier! I'd done a little reading about sunline camper reviews before going for the initial inspection and was reconfirmed in the quality once I got there.

The icing on the cake now is, I've found is this forum group. I love to tinker and upgrade. I also enjoy the seeking and sharing information that here seems to be delivered in a genuine, tested and heartfelt manner.(I spent 3-4 hrs last night reading here)

Thanks for the wonderful find, look forward to the future having learned from the past!
Jason

Hi Jason,

Welcome to the club and congrats on your (new to you) Sunline.

Sounds like the perfect unit for you guys. I'm sure you'll be able to get a lot of ideas on upgrades and mods from here. There's a lot of very knowledgeable people here. And we'll probably get just as many good ideas from you.

You should consider joining us at this years Eastern Meet & Greet in Mexico, PA. It can't be too far from you.

Enjoy your new Sunline and have fun camping this summer.
Hutch

Hi Jason,

I'd like to welcome you & your wife to the group. You have become the owners of a wonderful trailer. Sunline was one of the best brands of trailers that a person could purchase. It would be great if you could join us at the big Sunline Rally being held in Mexico, PA., June 20 - 23. CHeck it out and maybe we'll see you there.

This is definately the place should you have questions about your Sunline, and there is also a lot of "modifications" taking place amongst our members. So, be prepared for some wonderful ideas

Kitty

Jason:

Welcome to the club. We're almost neighbors. I live over by Pinchot State Park and Ski Roundtop. Also, I have a 1993 T-2051. The only difference between our trailers is the layout of the bedroom if I remember correctly. Hope to see you at the M&G in June.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I'll do what I can to try to get to the meet and greet coming up next month, no promises. I know my mother in law has us booked for a free weekend she won at a campground in Perry Co that's not far at all from where you folks will be that weekend. I might try to get in the truck and go for a drive to at least say 'hello'.

Al... we are pretty close to one another. I did my maiden voyage to Pinchot this past weekend. We had a good time aside from the weather and unseasonal chill we've had recently. I have mixed emotions about the park, it's camping facilities, and our fellow campers but we made the best of what we had.

As far as my 'T-2053' I'm baffled personally. I haven't found a floor plan in any of the manuals or brochures that indicate they even made a '2053'... weird. It also wasn't an option on nada when I tried to get an idea of the value... only the 2052 and 2054 showed up. But alas, the plaque by the door is stamped 'T-2053'. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Take care,
Jason

Welcome, I just joined this band of Sunline goo-roos a week or two ago and it has been great. And it looks now that I plan on booking our spot at Buttonwood for the M & G in June. It looks like a great time, and I love to kayak but just haven't done it too much. Drinks and food look great from last years pics as well.

Congrats on your Sunline purchase, it's the only brand I have ever owned, and this is my second, and I hope to never own any other. I have a 99' 1950. And my wife and I love it. Well hope to see you in Mexico, and welcome to ya.

I don't have much info with me at the moment, but I do have proof that # 1326 is a '92 2053. I don't know if I have pics of that or if I have any unidentified pics of a '92 2053, but I'll check later.

I'd say if the tag by the doors says it's a 2053, it is. Also, feel free to PM me with your VIN and I'll tell you for sure if it's a '92 as well as add it to the database.

It's also possible that your coach is a prototype, if it's before 1326.
