Hello!

Thank you for being such a warm and welcoming group! We are complete newbies, never owned a TT before. We have recently become proud owners of a 1996 Solaris T2251, that we named Trailer Swift, and we could not be more excited! Our daughter is 10 now (hence the trailer's name, lol), and I wanted to do something a little more meaningful to get her (and our!) noses out from in front of our electronics. I remembered back to my childhood, family camping in old "milktruck" campers, always returning with a good story. So I took the plunge, and here we are, reading all your old posts with enthusiasm and making plans for our own adventures!
I have bought fabric to recover all the cushions and make new curtains, and plan to replace the after-market carpeting, but structurally and mechanically, our new trailer seems sound. I welcome any and all advice any of you veterans may have, as well as suggestions for good campgrounds to start out at in the northern Ohio area. Thanks for being here!!

Hi Tacyko,

Welcome to the group. This is a great place to visit and share ideas and help others with questions and answers. Enjoy your "new to you" Sunline. Nancy and I owned a 1992 T-2251 for twenty years. We loved it.

Your name is actually more appropriate than you realize. Our good friend T Swizzle grew up just north of the Sunline factory in Berks County, PA, and at the time that Trailer Swift was built, she lived on her family's christmas tree farm a mere 15 minutes/10 miles northeast of the plant.

Sunline Fan, thanks for that bit of info! Pretty cool, can't wait to tell our daughter. She'll be tickled to know that Trailer was Taylor's neighbor!
