Greetings from another Sunline fan
Hello to everyone. I have been a sunline owner for 3 years now. I started researching the brand after I came acrossed this trailer. I found a wealth of knowledge from this site that was very helpful. The TT is a 2002 Sunline Solaris Lite T-2363 which has been the best starter TT I think you could ever own. We have recently been looking to upgrade, so I started doing some research. I looked online and went to look at some TT's at the RV Center, but nothing was catching my eye. The salesman seemed very interested in my Sunline, he said he would just have to make a couple calls and it would be gone. This caught my attention, so I started thinking why change brands when I know what the quality is with Sunline. I think it was a miracle, but I found 2004 T-264SE not far from me. We looked at it last week and fell in love. We brought it home yesterday and started the deep cleaning process. I found myself back here researching for our new model, this made me think after buying yet another Sunline it was time to join the club! I have only seen a couple of these smooth sides out there and I would be very interested in any background information that all You Sunline experts may have on this model. I would like to say thanks to all of you, because with all of these posts it made it easy to deside to stay with Sunline.

Welcome Jakebrake.
Your T264SR is a very popular model. Many here have them both in the aluminum sided and the SE. We can help with anything on that year camper. Even the slide system and especially the 2004 year as I have the same vintage.
Sunline Fan here is our local historian and can tell you a bunch of facts about Sunline history and he may even know how many T264SR's there are. I do not know if he has the breakdown on SE or aluminum sided.
There is also something that caught my eye.

We have another member searching the world over for a T2363. What happened to yours and is it still for sale? I know they will want to check it out. Their screen name is Wannabes and they have a thread running in the Community forum.
And yes, the Sunline quality does shine through. They are great coaches.
We look forward to hearing and seeing about your Sunline adventures. We really like pics!!!
Happy camping
John

Welcome Jakebrake! Was this by chance the 264SR SE at Kitsmiller RV?
Yes, I do have a breakdown of filon SE sided vs. aluminum, because it was such an expensive option and really changes the look of the trailer.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. I actually have sold my 2363 to a person who is just getting started out with this fun hobby. Sunline fan, you are correct I did just purchase the 264 from Kitsmiller. I don't know how many pics you seen of it, but I really like the floor plan. I will gather up the info and VIN to add to the database.

Great! lol, it's not often I get to say this, but I've got all 114 pictures that Kitsmiller posted! I do have the VIN too, ending in 6049. This was built very shortly after JohnB's first Sunline 2499, so a lot of the construction things he mentions about that are very much applicable, even though his slide issues also apply since they are all of the same generation.
I am interested in the owner's manual documents though. Here's a summary of what I'm looking for, in pictures:

Cool! Then Jakebrake has the newer/better American Enterprises power converter with the better fans and he may even have the next generation slide floor (plastic hard coated in place or Darco) and the floor rollers with the plastic trough. From Ron and Alice's 2004 T264SR theirs had the 2005 year slide floor redesign in a 2004 unit. So Sunline started phasing in the slide floor upgrades in very last 2004 models.
Jake, trust me, both of those things are a big upgrade.
Good luck with your new coach!
John
PS. Jake, what is the manufacturing date of your camper? It would be listed on the VIN plate on the front left side of the camper.

I don't have that info for non-VIN'd trailers, but for 2004 with VIN, 9 of the 97 I have details/pictures for have the SE package, so roughly 10%. In terms of '04 264SR, it's 2 out of 15 total (by VIN again), so close to the same. Without assigning an arbitrary tracking number to the non-VIN pics I have, I don't have a good way to count/track the info from those.
Again for overall model year, it' has been as low as 4% in 2000 and as high as 29% in 2005. Granted 2005 includes the Transport toy hauler, which came with the fiberglass standard, so it skewed it a little.
