Finally talked them into it...

I have camped almost all my life. My wife is a hoteler. Finally last summer, we had freinds from Vermont invite us to camp in PA, (we live in MD). We borrowed my parents pop up and my wife and daughter loved it, with a few draw backs. Our freinds had a 23' hybrid, so my wife and daughter were jealous of the quicker setup and take down and wanted the bathroom. So, we searched all the rest of the year and last weekend bought a 1990 27' Starray. It needs a couple fixes, but we loved the setup. Now for the questions... It looks like it had a small leak at one time and might have been covered with the paint on roof paint. Is this acceptable? I probabaly will do it again if it is ok, so we have no down time this camping season. Also, any one have any great CG experiences in the MD,DE, VA, or PA area? Looking for new experiences with my family. Thanks for all the great info I have found on the site.

Thanks,
Danny

Welcome Danny from a fellow Marylander.....

Check out the campground listings here on the site.

Our two favorites are Old Mill Stream in Lancaster, PA and Jellystone in Quarryville, PA. We also like Frontiertown in OC, but only in the fall, too crazy at the beach during the season and we usually can't make the required three night minimum for weekend reservations.

We've had our trailer a little over a year and have enjoyed it so much.

Also, check out the Meet and Greet in PA in June.
