Batteries

I'm going to switch from a 12V system to 2 6V Golf Cart batteries.

I've looked at Dekalb, Trojan T-105 and Ultrapower EV-110.

Anyone have any experience with any of these?? Suggestions, opinions

welcomed.
Apparently Gel and AGM are not compatible with the Sunline supplied system.

Yes, No ,Maybe??

thanks,
Brad

Hi Brad and welcome to the SOC!

If you want a converter that is compatible with GEL and AGM batteries, they are easy enough to replace. I have two 12v AGM batteries in our fifth wheel and charge them with the Progressive Dynamics PD9260C converter.

some of the other members should be along soon and can offer more info..

The T105 Trojan can't be beat often used on large Solar systems. If you have the stock charging system it will take a week to charge the batteries and after they are charged it will boil the water out of them! Yeah you'll need to upgrade.
