Happy Campers,
I found some information.
If the first digit in your VIN number is a "1", your tuck was made in The U. S.
A "3" indicates Mexico.
The 11th place should be a letter.
"S" is "Dodge City", and I have to believe that is Warren, but it did not say so.
"J" is for St. Louis North.
"G" is for Saltillo.
Hope that helps clarify.

The DW is right, I am wrong a lot.

My current truck was made in Mexico. The 2001 Ram 2500 diesel that I had was made in the USA. The '01 was made in St. Louis. At least my memory was close

We average around 16 to 17 "round town" and 12 to 13 pulling Sunnie. We only use it "round town" when one of the daily drivers is down. It has 71K on it now.

I'll have to check the VIN and see where MACK was born.
