Another Hello From PA

Hiya folks! First I want to say I have been poking around this forum a bit and there's just so much great information, especially for a newbie like me... thanks so much! And I notice there are lots of folks from PA in here ... I am in the Reading area.

So, after being a tent camper for my adult life I finally decided at age 51 that the ground is just too hard and got myself a good deal on what was advertised as a 1977 14' Sunline Camper. There is no model name listed on the title and the PO didn't know it either - maybe someone here can help? It's in pretty good shape for being 35 years old, the PO actually lived in it full time for a few months, so he replaced most of the hoses, sealed the seams up and made sure all the systems work. The door is toward the front, with a pull out sofa under the front window. The dinette is in the rear and the kitchen, bathroom, etc are amidship.

I am looking forward to cleaning this vintage baby up, fixing up a few things that need fixing and getting it out for a trial run as soon as we have a couple of warm weekends. Thank you in advance for answering questions and sharing information... looking forward to getting to know you!

Laura

Welcome! We are also near Reading you will find this group a helpful bunch. we no longer have a Sunline, but owned 4 of them. If they were still in business im sure we would have bought our latest trailer from them as well. As for your model number, if you go to the FILES section, then BROCHURES, then on page 4 you can download the brochure from 1977. Sounds like you have a 15SC. We all love to see pictures! Be sure to check out the various Meet & Greets. I believe there are 6 this year. The big one is at Buttonwood, which is 2 hours from here. The rest are smaller. Shenandoah River, and rocky Gap are both 200 miles, but IMO worth the drive hope you can make it to one or more!

Good to have ya with us. We are also from PA (near Lancaster). Fairly new to the site also (about 6 mo.) I've gotten a lot of helpful info off this site. Hope to meet up with a lot of this bunch at Buttonwood in June.

Hi and welcome to the group. There are lots of willing and helpful people on the site who will be able to provide a lot of information. Enjoy your 'new to you' Sunline. Like Tweety said, if Sunline were still in business, many who have had to move to other RV's would still have Sunlines. Have fun!

Welcome from central PA! There are a lot of nice people in the SOC who are willing to help with any questions. If you get a chance, post some pixs of your Sunny.
