Thank you Gene! That's helpful. It seems like pickup trucks are popular too, but they are not really for us. Can anyone else recommend a Chrysler or Dodge that would be suitable for pulling the T-1950 as our Jeep dealership carries those makes and models as well and we may be able to arrange a better deal if we are open to more options. Thanks again.
Erin

You could look at the new Dodge Durango with the 5.7 Hemi V8. The old one went out of production in 2009 but Dodge (Chrysler/Jeep) has brought it back. I hear the 5.7 will tow 7400# and the V6 will tow 6200#. I don't know much about the Durango but it may be worth looking at and reading the specs if the dealer has a brochure.

We went with a Jeep GC! It's a 5.7L HEMI V8 with a tow package and we hope to pick up the T-1950 this coming weekend! We will post pictures. Thanks so much for all the information we needed to upgrade our TV

Congrats! While you won't be pulling anywhere near the tow limit to just bring that home, it's still a good idea to try to get your ~500 miles worth of break-in period on the Jeep before you tow.

Congratulations on the new TV! You should have a great towing experience with the 1950.

And now to echo others: we need pictures!!

Congrats Erin,

You will surely enjoy your Sunline and with the new jeep it will be a pleasure to tow.

Once you get settled and have time, we'd love to see pictures.

Erin, make sure to get that brake controller installed before you tow it too! It's pretty easy to do yourself now since they have the available plug-n-play pigtails, or you could have a dealer do it.

For the towing you do, you'll be fine with something like the Tekonsha Prodigy.
