A new adventure!

I just bought a 2002 Sunline Solaris 2670. It will be a 3 generation trio. My father, my adult son, and myself. Oh, and Mollie my Shi-Apso.

Welcome RV4Three!

Glad you found us and congrats on your new camper. Yes, it does look in good shape.

Happy camping this year and if you need any help, ask away. There are no dumb questions here, so just ask.

Thanks

John

Howdy! Figured out the pic of your camper was on your registry. That looks pretty neat.

How can I find out more about the forum? I read about the rules and I looked up "forum" and read in wiki etc. I still wonder what does the little square mean? What does the little circle or button mean? Why are they sometimes gray and sometimes green? I also see an icon that looks like scales. I see a triangle rimmed in red with an exclamation in it. What do those mean? Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask!

Hi RV4three,
The circle indicates if that user is currently online. Green means they are currently logged in. The triangle is used to report the post. If you are working from a computer, locate the cursor over the icon and you should get a tool tip that tells you what the link does.

When I scroll over what looks like a scale it says "Add to RV4three's Reputation".

The red outlined triangle with the exclamation point in it, is the "Report a Post" button.

We at times have spammers who signup and create wild kind of posts. It's very obvious they are not fellow campers by what they are posting. Our software takes care of a lot of the computer spammers automatically. However real people can get through. The moderators are on the hunt all the time for these things and we take care of that.

If a member finds something that looks out of place, like a spammer, or anything that is not of our camping values and not normal for our forum, (against the rules) they can report it by pressing that button. That sends the message to the moderators and to our admin to check it out and we then address the issue.

On the topic of learning more about the forum, see this thread, it helps explain how to do many things if you have not already seen it
http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f1...ics-11235.html

And here is another tip. Searching for something on the forum, we have an embedded search feature that is part of the forum software. There is a button up top, that says "Search" and it will take you here Sunline Coach Owner's Club - Search Forums

That search does have some value but is complex to find something many times.

To help this, our admin created a Google Custom search just for our forum and it works really well. You put one or two words close to what you want and it finds lots real fast.

Go here. Book mark this address. You will see this in some of the Moderators signature to help get the word out.

Google Custom Search For Sunline Owners Club

Scroll down slightly to the search box with the words "Google Custom Search" and out what you want in there and then press the blue search button to the right.

Thanks

John
