1982 Sunline T-1350 Manassas, VA

Hello to all,

I just picked this little trailer (1982 T-1350) at an estate tag sale. The camper has not been used for at least 4 years. She has some exterior dings and dents, the inside is missing the original dining table and the wiring inside will need to be checked out. I have scrubbed her down inside and out, I was able to get all her exterior lights working, and have just painted her rear bumper and steps. I have never owned a camper and am sure I will need alot of help fixing her up. I like to do as many repairs I can myself. I am sure I will have alot of questions. I will try to post pictures later. If you go to auctionzip.com they had a picture posted on the July 10th Auction in Marshall, VA by Hartman Auctions. This is a good before picture of the trailer.

Rich,

Welcome to SOC! I am sure you'll feel right at home. There are a number of us that do a lot of work on our TT's, so feel free to ask away in the tech sections.

You may find a lot of answers in previous discussion threads. Most of the issues are not really model specific so there is great information already available to you on a wide range of topics.

Little SUnline

Welcome to the site.

We also have a small SUnline, a 15.5 footer and absolutely love it. As a reference we also have a motorhome but have been on the road with the Sunline 10 of the last 12 months.

We have modified it extensively. You can see the mods under Files/Preparing a Sunline on this site.

We replaced our table using a $9 stair tread from Home Depot. We did this because we wanted a smaller table.

Happy trailering,

Norm

The Trailer is coming along. I painted the front frame and tank holders, I bought new propane tanks with the updated valves, new updated hoses, new marine battery and a battery box strap. I plan on repacking the bearings, getting a spare tire carrier and cover and a propane tank cover next. The exterior light/handle by the entrance is completely deteriorated. Restless Wheels said they may have a replacement. Once that is all done I will work on the interior. The coverter appears to be missing its cover and there are some extra on/off boxes added. I have a roof top AC unit and that may have something to do with it. I am not good with electricity. I wish Norm lived in the area, his posts in the file section show his now how with this stuff. I may have to go to the RV repair facility when I get to the electric to make sure it is right.

I will try to get some pictures posted soon (not to good at that stuff). I haven't done too much lately with the trailer. I have been busy with the house. The washing machine in the died and I had to get a replacement. I also had an electric problem in the house. That ended up being a problem with Verizon digging and hitting a wire.
The trailer since the last post has got a spare tire carrier and cover. The propane tanks also got a new cover.
Next I need to build a replacement table and sort out the converter box.
