1980 small 12' Sunline Trailer restore...

Hello community members...

I wanted to say hello...so I did I look forward to meeting and sharing my passions with fellow members. I am from New York area and love campers, trailers, rv's n BBQ's basically home on wheels turns me on I always got this warm secure feeling when I stepped in a nice truck camper or pull trailer, or rv.

Either u love em or ya don't n boy do I! I'm gonna raise the rear on this sexy little 1980 Sunline 12' trailer/ camper cause getting up driveways is ridiculous!! I need a rough n tumble trailer something that can roll over terrain somewhat and I plan on making that happen. How I don't know yet but I am working on it.

Looking into compost toilet but DANG! they are expensive. Would like to include some way of showering as well...looks like I'm gonna have ta get a bigger camper LMAO!!

Any-who... happy camping n safe hauling!

Welcome to the forum.

You may want to post under "Technical....Modifications". It is about 2/3rds down the forum page.

Also, you may be interested to look at the brochures for your year and model. Click the "FILES" tab at the top of the page.

I also have a T-1550. It is a 1983.

Enjoy your trailer and post those pictures!

Hi Bunjin,

thank you for the help and the brochures are a definite interest. This is my first trailer/ camper so I figured a good starter camper. I already know I'm moving up to a nice truck camper real soon.

I want something with full size shower/ dry bath. I love the Chalet's. I'm in the Sunline trailer now slowly dismantling the inside. Will continue in other thread later tonight with images Have a nice evening or day depending on where u are

Looking forward to more pics as mine is same size but a year newer and exterior configuration is quite different. The model changes really interest me.

Will also follow the 'raise the rear' as I've already knocked a hole in my gray water tank on the maiden voyage.

From the pictures, I'm guessing it's a '78-'79 15' SC, to help in your search in the brochures. 1980 will be very similar though. The VIN will tell you the year for sure.
