Treating Top Slide Seals when you have a Slide Topper

Ok – for those of you that have slide toppers, what tricks do you use for treating the top seals of the slide room?

I treat the side seals regularly. I'm starting to use 303 now, based on JohnB's suggestion.

But I have not come up with a good way to treat the top seals, beyond an arm's length reach because of the slide topper.

Any suggestions?
Thanks
Hutch

H’mm Hutch, good point. Never thought of that yet. I don’t have that problem, yet. Topper in the future option upgrades….

Maybe, tie wrap a rag on the end of a pole, spray the rag, use the pole to reach ½ way down one end and then do the other end from the other side?

I just did mine last weekend but no topper so I could reach to get the seals.

I'll follow along to see what others chime in with.

John

Hi guys I havent treated my seals yet at all so I am not sure if this is a good idea or not but could you attach a sponge soaked in the 303 to the end of a broom handls and slide it along the seal under the topper? just a thought

Hutch,

Go to the Dollar Store and pick up a cheap sponge mop. Apply your 303 to the head and you should be able to reach from both sides.

Don't forget to get some Awesome while you are there.
