slideout gasket

Hello sunliners..thanks to the reply about finding parts for my travel trailer(notice i did not say Sunline didnt want to scare you as i was told not to do at the parts counter) want to know if there is a special or easy way to pull up the slider gasket on my slide out 2004 Solaris..the gasket has come away from the top corner. you can tell that the gasket on the right side hangs down at the bottom of the slide roomnwhere as the gasket on the left is level with the slide room..when you look at the upper rt corner you can look into the trailer..any suggestions greatly appreciated nick

Hi Nick

Did you get your seal problem sorted out?

I "think" I know what you are saying, it is that the slide seal has fell down in the corner. Is that right?

On my 2004 unit the slide seal is screw in place by 4 screws. On each end of the slide, the seal is going up and down now, there is a small screw on the bottom and one up towards the top.

One is buried up in this area

Like right here

and down at the bottom like right here

Does yours have those screws and am I understanding the problem you are having right?

Hope this helps

John
