Does anyone know were I could get 2 replacement awnings on 264-SR Sunline Solaris. 1 for the picnic area, and 1 for the slide out. Thanks in advance!!

Hi Dan,

This post may help on the RV Awning Smart awning. I bought one 2013.

http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f7...ics-14771.html

So far the awning has held up OK, no real complaints. They are made offshore which I did not know at the time of ordering. And for that matter I do not know if the Dometic was made in the US either. The Dometic I think comes from Europe or at least in 2004 they did. Do not know of today's awnings.

They have a good warranty and place selling them was very helpful in answering any questions. The only negative I have noticed is the white part of mine may get a little dirtier faster then the Dometic. I "think" this may be from the new awning is slightly softer. The older one I took off was was more stiff and crinkly so the dirt slid off faster. But again I had a 10 year old awning so as any awing ages it would not be surprising to start to get stiffer. Really have no real good comparison of memory of a brand new Dometic in softness. While we did buy a new 2004 T2499 in late 2004, my memory does not recall the softness of it.

I did 303 UV treat this new awning right after I put it on. The old Dometic was sun killed in the 1st foot of it up at the roof. I got by for a year with awning repair tape, but it had to go. As the years go by I can report more my new one.

Good luck and hope this helps

John

Your 2004 should be the same as our 2006, 19ft

I know I asked this question a year ago, but I finally got the time to install the awning I bought last year. Check it out!

Took me about an hour with 2 people. It was easier prying the top out rather then using silicone and sliding it out. I would like to buy the slide out awning to since its starting to rip. As well as get it in the same color as the main awning.
