I have the Atwood 3500# ball screw drive. Once you convert, you will never go back.....
Mine has a trip clutch when it reaches end of stroke, both up and down, it ratchets like a slip clutch on a cordless drill. Have to watch out on some brands/models they only have a fuse to protect against end of stroke. Pop the fuse protects the jack, just carry many spares.
Mine can accept a manual crank in the event you have no battery
Mine has a light on it that helps hook up at night.
Mine has a one piece cover to help keep rain out of the top of the jack. Regardless I still put a 2 gallon plastic oil jug cut the top off to make a cover when stored outside. Out of sun and rain then.
Atwood and Barker are 2 very popular brands. Don't think you can go really wrong with either. Many have reported both going mega years and moving from camper to camper. I have moved mine twice.
Which ever one you get, get a high rated one. You jack up both the truck and the camper on a WD hitch setup. On your camper, I would say 2,500 # rating would be the smallest I would go. Consider the 3,000 or 3,500. Less strain and pain
Good luck
John
