TV to TT wiring adapter?

Hi all, on my sunline 1850T I have a 6 pin hookup from the TT going into a 6 flat on my factory tow package of my 2003 grand cherokee, I bought an adapter from wally world and it does fire up the lights and charge the battery, but it wiggles a bit causing the lights to be inconsistently lit. Any ideas for jerry rigging the adapter, or do you think I should nix the adapter and run a new wiring system from the TT?

I have shoved a piece of paper in and am thinking some duct tape or gorilla tape but am looking here for advice.

Thanks gang.

JohnB is on a distinguished road
You said 6 pin flat on the truck, do you mean 7 pin round or mean 4 pin flat or something else?

I have not seen a 6 wire flat on the back of a modern truck. 4 wire flat for standard non brake trailers and 7 wire round for brakes, yes.

They actually make 4, 5, 6 and 7. Just the 5 and 6 are not common on modern trucks from the factory.

Can you link the product you bought or take pics of the ends. Something is not adding up exactly right. Once we see what you have can make better recommendations.

Hope this helps

John
