window valance removal

I am looking to remove my blinds in my 98 280SR and am cant figure out how to remove the valances. Any tips? Are there screws under the trim piece? dont want to rip and tear and be wrong.

Thank you for your input

Get down low by the base of the window and look up into the underside of the valence. You should see some metal brackets and screws. Back out the screws and the valence should come right off.

What Steve described is what our 2004 has so "assuming" yours may be the same too.

On ours, I have to take the mini blind off first, each end bracket has a flip close door/latch to hold the blind in.

Once the blind is off, the small screws and L brackets appear which hold the valance on.
