Where is my water pump t2499

I have a 2007 t2499 and want to winterized it. Where is my waterpump???

I had a 2006 2499 and the water pump is located in the pegboard storage compartment. When you open the door, on the bottom left there is a raised area that you need to unscrew and remove, the pump is under this "box"

Just checked my photos and I don't have a pic of it.

On my 2004 T2499 the pump was also where Kitty stated. In the peg board cabinet up front towards the bed room under the white L shaped wood cover. Take the cover off and it will be there.

I upgraded the pump to a variable speed unit and it looks like this. You will have the green striped hose as well over the top. But your pump will look a little different.

Thanks John. Is there a big advantage to the variable speed motor??? Also there is no tank heat on these units I assume?? I guess you can't really hold water in winter at all. Maybe a heat blanket is an option. I'm coming from a camper with enclosed underbelly

I accidentally toasted my original pump by leaving the pump turned once when we went for a walk at a camp ground. Never do that again.....The system needed to build pressure so it turned on as the switch was on. Well it was also when the water level in the fresh tank was just below the side mounted suction hole. So it sucked in air bubbles and lost pump prime. It ran for about 2 hours dry and not pumping water.

When we came back to the camper I could smell electrical heat, oh boy.... but heard nothing. These pumps when they air lock go almost dead quite. The pump never worked right after that and rather then buy a rebuild kit I upgraded to the variable speed pump. And I am very happy that I have. Water pressure is constant and only pumps proportional to the use. When boondocking the motor runs very slow and draws less current as we are stingy on the water then too.

Some have added an accumulator tank to the standard system and that greatly helps. However the pump when it does run still runs the same as you have now. Upgrading to the variable speed pump is a luxury, sort of like the power tongue jack. Once you have it there is no going back. I upgraded my new camper about 3 months after we got it just due to the leanings from the T2499.

The fresh tank in your camper is exposed. If you have a very hard freeze or all winter you need to get the water out of it. They do sell tank heating pad kits for the fresh and for the gray and black tank too. But they have to be plugged in to use them and on 120VAC I think as the load is really high for a DC setup. Mack C-85 here on the forum I know has them and has stated positive comments.

I lucked out and my Sunline TT does have enclosed tanks. It may have been a custom order or prototype do not know as I bought the camper used after Sunline went out of business.

However I have to run the propane furnace to heat the compartment but it does work well. I do drain them when I return home as even the enclosed tank will still freeze after several days below freezing and no heat on.
