What is this switch? (t-2470)

I've been making great progress in getting acquainted with my new (old) Sunline T-2470.

Last weekend I used the tips provided in a Youtube video showing how to replace a plumbing vent. The video was spot on and I was able to do the job in less than 20 minutes with destroying the camper or requiring a trip to the ER!

I do have a few questions:

Attached is a photo of a switch located outside of the camper's rest room. I have no idea what it's used for? Nothing lights up or appears to be activated when the switch is thrown in either position. ANY suggestions are greatly appreciated.

ALSO another electrical related question. All of the lights in my camper work with the exception of the two in the rest room and the one just outside the rest room. Bulbs are all fresh replacements, as are the fuses. Any suggestions in this regard are likewise appreciated.

Many thanks in advance for your help and consideration. This is a GREAT forum for info and help!!!

Semper Fidelis,
Rob

Is there a switch on the light fixtures themselves??

The switch outside the restroom door probably controls the bathroom light(s), but the switch on the light also has to be on.

We also have a switch outside our bathroom on our T-2475. It controls the bathroom lights over the sink. You must have the lights over the sink turned on. Then the outside switch works. Ours has a red light that reminds you if the bathroom lights are on.

Mack,

Yes the lights themselves have a "slide switch" on position activates one light, the other position turns on the fixtures second light, and then there's "off".

When I go back to winterize her in the next week of so, I'll check the switch in relation to the bathroom lights.

Thx for your help!!

Tourist,

Many thanks! That seems to be the "trend". I'll check it out in the near future to see if this both fixes my rest room lights, and solves this mystery which has been plaguing my mind.

Semper Fi,
Rob
