Vinyl Screw Cover Strip

The vinyl screw covers are showing signs of wanting replaced on our 1988 T-1350 - the outside corners of the shell. What size am I in need of? The actual slot opening in the corner molding measures 5/8". Would 3/4" or 1" be the one? Is there a difference in cross sectional shape?

Most any RV dealer will have what you need. They keep large rolls of it in stock. Camping world also sells it. I don't believe 3/4" would be wide enough. You would only have 1/8" to share between both sides of the channel.

Here's a place, that sells it by the foot:

- 3/4" & 1" Vinyl Insert - Price: $3.50 - Factory RV Surplus - 1611 W Bristol St, Elkhart, IN 46514 (800) 325-1461 (574) 262-3327

Thanks, guys.

I've seen a lot of it on Ebay, Pete. I think I'd rather have beige or something close to it instead of white, though - thanks.

Just sold ours, but if you can't find any in the right color, you might try spray painting it with Krylon Fusion. It sticks to plastics very well. Good luck, Pete
