Toilet Universal ball joint?

Hey folks!

I've been trying to do something to improve my TT at least every day or so. Most recently I have been trying to locate any leaks. I've found one at the junction that feeds the toilet. It seems like there is a fitting there that is a ball within a hex to connect to the rest of the water line. My guess is that the gasket in there has gone bad. Has anyone had any experience with this? What is involved with replacing that fitting? Thanks for all the help.

For those keeping up with the adventure, today I finished putting sealant around the new bathroom ceiling hatch and replaced the cover for the electric cord with one that fits nicely right around the plug to keep the rodents out.

It's a valve. Manufacturer is most likely Pex or Flair-it. You will have to figure out which it is by comparing what you have with pics on the net. Replacements and, many times, individual parts are easily found on the net.

Sunline Coach Owner's Club - bunjin's Album: Thetford Aqua Magic IV

On my 1983 T1550 I had the ball valve assembly split due to old age and having left the pump on. (lesson; turn pump off when not using as it can cause a leak to really became a problem real fast.)

I was lucky to have been in the trailer when it happened.

Anyway check my album on the replacement.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Pictures really help with problems. Post them if you can and besides we like pictures of members units.

Good news! I found the replacement part on Amazon and it is even a Prime eligible item. The bad news is that it is 26 bucks, but I could spend my money on worse things. Here is a link to the item if anyone else finds themselves in need:
