where can I buy ? tried Camper world but only found thin tape. Someone used thick tape previously on windows

Not sure. When I pulled a window out one time, I doubled and tripled up on strips of tape in areas that would fit in the valleys of the aluminum. As I recall, I did one strip all the way around the window, and then put the pieces on the clean trailer surface to level it out, then put the window up there.

Same here. I redid a compartment door and used extra layers in the valleys. JohnB posted a thread about redoing a door and that is where I learned it.

You can also buy butyl rubber in caulking tubes. A bit more messy but it works.

Your talking about an architectural/building medium here, thus, I would try a glazing (glass) replacement company (commercial), etc.

Yes. Any autobody supply store should have it. You could also use urethane like they set windshields with but it won't come back apart too easy.

When I replaced the windows in my house I bought butyl foil covered tape at a roofing store (ABC Roofing) that was made to cover all the wood in the window frame. Came in a big 12 inch wide roll.
