T1950 Wheel Bearings Part Numbers

Hello,

I'm getting my bearings packed next week and need to order parts, specifically bearings and seals. Does anyone know where I can find the correct part numbers for these items and where I might purchase? Any other advice out there for this job to be completed correctly?

I have a 1995 T-1950 Sunline Solaris, double axle

Those should be standard Dexter 3,500# axles. IIRC, that's all Sunline used in that era. My '99 had them, too.

There should be complete info on them in the Files area including a bearing cross-reference chart and complete maintenance manual.

You can also find all that info (and more) on Dexter's website: dexteraxle.com

When I had the Sunline, I printed all the charts and such and kept them in a binder in the trailer along with all the other reference material I accumulated on the rig.

You'll find that most RV dealers and many auto parts stores like NAPA will have them in stock. They are common to most lighter weight travel trailers and many utility and boat trailers. There's nothing "Sunline" about most of the parts in your T-1950. I was always able to get axle, hub, and brake parts for my '99 at the local auto parts store. I never had to go to an RV dealer for that kind of stuff.

What may be helpful is to not mention Sunline when you need parts or repairs. Walk into an RV shop and ask for bearings for a '95 Sunline and they'll get the deer in the headlights look and they'll tell you they can't help you. Walk into the same place and ask for bearings for 3,500# Dexter axles and they'll have exactly what you want.

Same for your fridge. Just tell 'em you have a Dometic 2652 ( or whatever model you have) and they'll fix you right up.
