T1750 Repair Work, day 2

Not much to report. Rain today, so no outside work. I made some repairs to one seat and then spent some time listening, while I may have leaks elsewhere I know I had an above the ceiling drip above the overhead cabinets where all that water damage is. With that general location, I hope to be able to track it down from above when the weather is better...

This is the front edge of the bathroom side bench seat of the dinette. It looks as though when the unit was built, they used long screws to secure the cleat that supports the dinette table when the dinette is in "Bed Mode". Those screws pushed the stapled in front edge of the seat from back out, and left it hanging - why no one ever fixed it is beyond me...

Damage repaired. Used a C-Clamp to pull it together, and a 9 1/4" length of 2x2 below to hold it up in the right place. The secured it with screws. I left the 2x2 in place, acting as a center pillar below the front edge of the frame and added 2 screws through the front of the paneling to keep it in place as well.

Then I lifted the other side and found....

This is the worst so far, when I press on those dark areas my fingers go right through Only the panels though, the floor oddly seems very solid there.

Devil if I know where THIS water is getting in... I loath the idea of pulling all that apart just to track it down...

I think I'll proceed with my "Seal the exterior" approach first and see if it keeps getting wet. Then if it doesn't I'll graft some new material in there.

(Oh and yes those are critter droppings, and yes I've since removed them)

Here is a pic of the TT after I purchased it,I'll try and post more.
One thing's for sure,it draws some attention when we pull into a campsite!
It took a good amount of work to get her up to snuff(bearings, tires, plumbing,) but suprisingly enough,no leaks at all.Tight roofs are a plus!!
The longest journey was to Loudon,NH for a NASCAR race, and it was a delightful time,as every thing performed flawlessly!!!
Good luck in your TT rehab!!
