Shurflo Pump

Hello, would anyone know if the Shurflo pump I found in my camper is self regulating as I can find no place where there was an on-off switch in the camper to operate the pump? Thanks, Dan
P.S, this is an add-on to my earlier post.

Dan, I think you should have a switch somewhere. Maybe over the stove on the exhaust hood?

It's probably a small wall switch on your truck camper. It would be on the wall somewhere, probably in the kitchen area and possibly on the side cabinet walls to the kitchen area. If it isn't there, then it is probably back in the back near the entry door, on the wall on one side of the door.

I have a similar question! I am looking for a shurflo pump and I am not sure where the best place to get it is. Has anyone used the shurflo 8000? What is your experience using that pump? Thanks for the advice!

Hi

Just so you see it, the exact one you linked us to is 115 VAC. They do make them in 12 VDC. The 8000 series pump looks more like the heavier duty ones and they seem to go up to 60psi which is high for a camper piping.

The standard camper Shur flow is in the 2000 series like theses or the others in the 2000 series. Classic Series Water Pump - SHURflo

You may not find many camper folks with the 8000 series.

Once you find the model you want, search the web for that model to get the best price.

Hope this helps

John

I agree with John 100%.. They can be priced very differently at different places. Just be careful if the price seems almost too low. They might make up the difference with the shipping costs.
