Shower drain..?

Does anyone know how to access the shower drain and pipes? Can you unscrew the drain from the top or is it cemented in?

Hi! I can offer that we have a T1950 and ours has an access panel underneath. Should be able to remove with a screw driver.

There is usually an access panel - can you tell us what year and model you have?

On our 2007 2499 - it was on the bedroom wall - oposite the faucets!

Here is mine

The drain basket goes in from the top down, under the shower is a flange gasket and a nut you tighten if the drain basket is leaking. The drain pipe screws right on my drain basket.

Mine is a 2004, your 2001 may be similar.

Tweety had a T2753, she or Steve may be along to tell how they get to thiers.

Hope this helps

John

Close your sliding door from the bathroom to the bedroom, and it should be down near the floor there.

Depending on the location of your drain, you might have another access panel inside the rear dinette booth. Take the cushions off, lift up the plywood top to the bench, and look on the wall there.

If I recall correctly on our 2753 the access panel for the shower drain was under the dinette bench seat. Open up the storage area on the bench seat next to the bathroom wall and you should see an access panel. I know it seems like an unlikely place but that is where I recall seeing it on our 2005 T2753

Hi T1950,
Your drain access panel is underneath what? On mine, the faucet panel is on the wall behind the faucets and part above and part below the mattress but I don't know how to get to the drain trap itself.
Thanks,
John
