seat cushion covers for dinette

My son's dog chewed a hole into my sage dinette seat cushion. Where would I go to replace this cushion cover? Mine is a 2003 Sunline SR. I live in Mechanicsburg, PA Any suggestions would be appreciated.

First off, welcome to SOC!

If you are looking for the matching seat cover material, then good luck. I tried finding some material, to re-cover a jack knife sofa and found it hasn't been available for years.

Kitty made new cushion covers for my old Prowler and they turned out great! She should be along here shortly and would be the one to ask!

As Gary said, the chances of you locating fabric to match your current interior are "slim to none". Depending upon your floor plan, you might be able to just re-cover the dinette cushions. Otherwise a total interior make-over. Making new covers for the dinette is pretty easy. I cheated when I made mine. I basically made a large "pillowcase" the size I needed for each cushion. Once I slid the new cover in place, I closed the ends sorta like when wrapping a package and sewed it shut. Turned out to be a great interior makeover, because I also changed out the curtains. This is a pic of the make-over in my former 1982 T-1661.

Page Foam Products made the seat cushions, but when I contacted them to make us a new cushion for our 2006 2753 they no longer had the fabric. They sent me samples to chose a coordinating fabric. They were great to work with, so maybe they'd make you some covers.

Thank you for the welcome EMD! Kitty you did a wonderful job with your cushion makeover! Tweety is Page Foam Products expensive? How much did they charge? You are all very helpful to me. This hole chewed into my cushion just happened today. The beagle was in his kennel but too close to the cushion. I guess she thought it looked tasty. Sadly it will be expensive to replace Im afraid.

I honestly don't remember how much they charged us, but I remember that it was reasonable. We got a whole new memory foam topped seat cushion with a cover for our sofa, so the price isn't going to be comparable anyway. They were really great about quoting a price over the phone though, so give them a call.

I just had another thought, yeah that's dangerous I know. But anyway, depending on "where" the cushion is chewed, is it possible to "snitch" some fabric from the bottom of the cushion to do the repair job ? Then put the purchased material in where you "snitched" from. Also, "IF" the chewed area is on the end of the cushion, once you do the repair, you could swap the cushions around. This would put the repaired area against the wall, and become a "no see, no tell" issue.

This reminds me, for anyone with a 2007 Granola interior, the main sofa fabric is still available. Jayco currently uses this fabric in their Jay Flight travel trailers for the same purpose, so you could buy fabric from them through your local Jayco dealer. The fabric's official name is Esteem Granola, 54" wide. I got a bunch of it to keep around if I ever had to redo something or potentially have a hide-a-bed built.
