Seal around bathroom fan vent needs replacement

What do you think of this situation?
I know the seal needs replacing but the question is how? From below, or hopefully not from above. Any help would be apreciated. This is our bathroom vent and fan. This is an '88 Satellite.

Thanks!
Tracy

I can't quite tell from the picture but you should be able to remove the screen from the inside. After you take off the screw for the crank handle there are 2 screws at the edge of the plastic frame. I had to look several times to find the screws on mine. Here is mine after I took it down.

Hi Tracey

Been out camping and just made it to your post. Gene pointed you in the right direction.

See this post is has more added pic’s that might help,

http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f71/replacing-roof-vents-101-with-pics-8922.html

Once the inside screen is down you can reach up there and possible take off the old seal and put a new seal on.

I have never bought just the seal. They may sell them as they do sell replacement roof covers.

Good luck and hope this helps. If you find a place that sells the seal, please post

John

Hi JohnB My husband did find a place that sells just the seal.
At a local RV supply company called Redwood RV here in Wilbraham, MA.

It goes for $7.99.

Thanks,
Tracy
