re insulate water heater

Hey group, what do you think is the best insulation is to re insulate a water heater when you reinstall it? The old cardboard that was wrapped around it was molded and had to go. Thanks for the help.

Hi Paul

Maybe try this. Buy the Atwood Styrofoam cover to exactly match your heater.

Let me try out this new picture posting feature on the forum. I do not know your model number so I picked an old one that may be similar. Price listed is $11.50

I have found you can buy just about any part for your camper on line if you knew where to look. By using the Atwood web site, finding the atwood part number then do a web search you will find the same Atwood parts at differenet prices at diferent places.

I can't link the parts page direct. You will have to work your way in
RV Parts and Accessories for Sale

Hope this helps

Here is the Atwood cover on my older camper. It is a top and bottom shell. Works good
