pump or faucet?

My kitchen faucet froze and cracked. Replaced with new one.My pump hammered like crazy.Company said it was a "green" faucet..conserve water use. Okay..bought and installed another one--Phoenix guarantees it is rv use..(I bought it from Amazon though for better $$) Have the same hammering issue but not quite as bad-but the water pulses out unless I turn bothe handles full force. So,is this a faucet issue (they are all advertised as washerless, quarter turn mechanisms), is my pump not producing enough pressure,is my pump going to be harmed?Do I buy another faucet since I am now so experienced in installation? Or sell the camper..lol! P.S. we are never on city water--but it works just fine when I hook it up. Can someone suggest a different faucet to work with my pump--please not an accumulator-can't afford another repair...Janalee .

Well, accumulator was my first thought. Sounds lile the pump works too good, builds up pressure fast, shuts off, starts up immediately .... NOISE! If the faucet has a strainer you coulld try and unscrew it from the end of the faucet, they often reduce the flow causing the problem you are having. I doubt the pump will be damaged.

NO, don't sell.

Try taking airator off. Sometimes they use low flow airators to restrict flow. If that helps buy a regular one
