Although the sofa in our 5'ver is still in great shape, the sofa bed was showing signs of it's age and the bed was sagging in the middle. When in Elkhart IN a couple of weeks ago we started looking for a replacement sofa bed but couldn't find one that we both liked and matched the interior of our trailer. Being in Elkhart we could buy a replacement mattress and new decking at a reasonable price so we thought we would go that route. Checking around we found an RV furniture outlet store and talking to them, they told us we could buy a complete sofa bed assemble for only a couple of dollars more so this is the route we went. Looking at our sofa bed, I could see that the current assembly was only held in by 6 bolts and 3 screws on each side of the sofa.
