Paul
Thanks for the tip. I read your post and went right out to the camper, made the adjustment and bingo. cover slides on and off easier.
Just brought the one tank in one notch on that top clamp as you mentioned.
A while back I also had one of the plastic fasteners pop as you did.
Larue from Sunline sent me some new ones, they were of course still in business then.
I seam to "now" remember, when I first got the camper the tanks were in a similar position to what they "now" are. I guess over a period of time I must have moved that one tank over that notch and didn't realize it.
Now one tank is on the futher most notch on the one side, and the other tank is just one notch in from the end.
Since I posted this earlier, I went back out to the camper, and checked for leaks with soapy water. Sure enough I had a small leak, right where the gas line comes out of the tank thru the plastic "Coupler fitting", I just loosened up the tanks and turned the tank a little an the leak was gone.
I haven't used the camper for a about 20 months, now I'm remembering how sensitive my gas lines are to leaking, I have to have the tanks, exactly lined up to the gas line or I get a small leak where the fitting goes into the rubber line comming out of the tank.
Thanks Again appreciate it.
